From incredible floats that depict Hindu Mythology, to vibrant traditional outfits, enthralling folk dances, and heart-thumping folk music, Shigmotsav 2023 was celebrated with pomp and grandeur from the 8th of March to the 21st of March, 2023.
 
The spring festival of Shigmo began on March 8, 2023, with the first parade being held at Ponda, in accordance with tradition. Promising an immersive experience, the parade was held in Panjim on March 11, 2023.
 
This year, the major centers were Ponda, Vasco, Mapusa, and Panjim with the first-ever Shigmotsav being held in Porvorim. With reviewed parade routes and greater security and management, the year 2023 saw an influx of attendees from all over with dignitaries attending the event and flagging off each parade with enthusiasm and joy.
