The Goa stall at the 29th edition of MITT, Moscow, was inaugurated by Ms. Ginka Uika, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy in Moscow. The Goa Tourism department put up an innovative pavilion at this leading three-day global travel fair, with a focus on showcasing the Goan culture, rich heritage, local festivals, landscape beauty, and tourism offerings such as different water sports, adventure activities, helicopter tourism, eco-tourism, hinterlands, and much more.
 
The trade fair consisted of several meetings and discussion with delegates from various international organisations. An important discussion was held with Bagirov Sergei, a producer associated with KIT Film Studio, a Gazprom company, in order to explore the idea of Goa as a future film shooting destination for Russian feature films.
