Come Home to the Movies

Every November Goa readies to welcome movie buffs across the country and the world. The International Film Festival of Goa is a yearly filmy extravaganza hosted for eight days. Film stars,  international directors, producers and others from the industry descend on Goa’s shores for IFFI. 

Over the course of the eight days, film buffs are treated to a melange of films, fiction and nonfiction. For a better understanding of the various nuances of filmmaking, there are workshops, discussions held with various leading experts on the sidelines. 

But IFFI isn’t for movie buffs alone. There are entertainment programs held along the promenade in Panaji that showcases art, music and more. Film screenings of popular films are hosted across Goa for the benefit of moviegoers everywhere.
