Goa Tourism hosted a vibrant São João celebration in Siolim, bringing together locals and visitors to experience one of Goa’s most cherished monsoon festivals. The festivities featured the iconic traditional boat parade on the Chapora River, cultural performances, live music, and authentic Goan cuisine, celebrating the State’s rich heritage and community spirit.
The celebrations were inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas and Tourism, Government of India, Shri. Suresh Gopi, in the distinguished presence of Shri. Sadanand Shet Tanavade, Member of Rajya Sabha, Smt. Delilah Lobo, MLA, Siolim, Shri. Kedar Naik, Director Tourism, Government of Goa, along with other dignitaries.
The event showcased Goa’s living traditions and reinforced its position as a year-round cultural destination, offering visitors an immersive experience of the State’s unique customs, vibrant festivals, and enduring cultural legacy.
