There has been a lot of discussion about collaborations and partnerships with other states to explore new avenues and innovative ideas that will help maintain Goa’s status as a premier destination. We are now focusing on areas such as the hinterland, wellness tourism, and homestays, while highlighting the unique and offbeat experiences that Goa has to offer. As we introduce new tourism services and reforms, we are proud to emphasize Ayurveda, which has long been a cornerstone of holistic health. Although allopathy has become a popular form of treatment in recent years, we are now revisiting our roots and bringing Ayurveda back to the forefront. It is important that we promote Ayurveda in its true essence. This state-of-the-art institute, located close to the airport and just 25 km from the capital city, will play a crucial role in promoting wellness packages. Your Dean’s vision to take this initiative forward aligns with our goals to enhance wellness tourism. The MoU signed today is not just a formality; it signifies a commitment to tangible progress and the development of new ideas. Together, we aim to make this collaboration truly impactful.”
