The famous Goa Carnival this year began on February 18 and witnessed float parades on the ground, water, and air at the same time, and was attended by Shri Rohan Khaunte, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, IT & EC and printing & stationery, Goa.
The four-day event was held in all major areas of the coastal state. For the first time, a helicopter was a part of the carnival parade, while there were floats in River Mandovi. Goenkars from around the state came together to celebrate what is the most awaited festival of the year. The event was flagged off by Hon’ble Minister of Tourism Rohan Khaunte and was attended by various dignitaries including our beloved King Momo!
