The Trek Organizers have deputed professional environmentalists to educate the participant's on all aspects of environment conservation. Most importantly, the endeavor of the organizers is to ensure that the trekking is a completely plastic free and litter free event. Dr. Pritvi Amonkar, is one of the consulting environmentalists for the organizers.
Home cooked food is prepared and served to the participants, with the idea being to promote authentic local cuisine. Details and highlights of local festivals during the period are also shared with the participants.
