Panjim, 4 May: Calangute Residency, a unit of Goa Tourism Development Corporation has won the "Best Host" Award in Budget Hotel Category from Yatra.com. This prestigious award is a shot in the arm and has come at a time when GTDC is focusing on improving its accommodation & other facilities in the State. Calangute Residency is one of the flagship hotels of the GTDC and provides spacious accommodation facilities overlooking the Arabian sea, beautifully landscaped gardens, restaurants, swimming pool, ample parking facilities etc making it a favorite for F.I.T’s & families.

Calangute Residency has not only bagged this honour but has also been listed amongst the other leading hotels of Goa. GTDC has its independent hotels entitled as ‘residencies’ all over the state and has been providing clean and reasonably priced accommodation facilities. The corporation has been taking immense efforts to maintain the properties and deliver quality services to its clients and customers. Ninfa Da Silva, Dy.
